Swift Racing are high quality manufacturers of IDBF Certified 10 and 20 man racing dragon boats. They have historically been a major producer of dragon boats for the Chinese domestic market and have recently added IDBF certified boats to their line.

The superb quality boats are constructed with a two part mold. This allows for molded interior features such as non-skid decking, fore/aft foot holds and interior hand holds to safely lift the boat. The boats are constructed using fiberglass and polyester resin for durability and low maintenance.

As an alternative to the standard construction boats there is a premium quality upgrade available. This premium upgrade incorporates a cormat sandwich core, which allows the production of boats with greater rigidity and reduced weight.

The use of wood is reserved for traditional elements such as the gunnels and the seats. Each bench seat consists of two parts. The supporting structure is molded construction -fiberglass and polyester resin with the actual seating surface constructed of solid timber -stained mahogany. The seat face is fastened with stainless steel screws which allows for easy maintenance.

Swift Racing dragon boats are designed to be fast and stable in the water. They comply in every respect with IDBF construction criteria. The standard construction is light-weight, at about 620 Lbs. for the 20 paddler boat and 535Lbs. for the 10 paddler boat.

Each boat is crafted produced and designed to provide years of service with a minimum of maintainace.

The dragon heads and tails are constructed of light-weight polyester resins and are molded construction. Each head and tail is painstakingly painted by hand using traditional Chinese methods.

Swift Dragon boats are available in a variety of colors. The Standard hull and interior color is white.

The external scales are applied during the molding process using gel coat. This ensures that the scales are present permanently! Molded gel coat scales are more difficult to produce, but last much longer than transfer film- this will keep your Swift Racing boat looking new! Custom colors and combinations are available upon request.

Boat importation is containerized- using a standard 40 foot container. Each container can carry up to 6 dragon boats (either model). The cost of each boat includes all shipping charges from the factory to the unloading point of the container. Additional shipping charges may apply for orders of less than four boats. There are no hidden costs when purchasing from Swift Racing. All costs including shipping, customs and duty are included. If you need additional transportation you will know those costs in advance, so there are no surprises. The boats are fully equipped and ready to race. Each boat comes complete with head, tail, steering oar, drum, drum seat and number holder. All you need to do is add paddlers and you are ready to race!

Client is responsible for de-containering if a client specific delivery location is scheduled.
